Even if the power adapter interface is the same, you cannot use different brands of laptop power adapters for power supply; because the voltage and current are different, the battery life will be damaged.

3. Inconsistent current: Different brands of laptop chargers (power adapters) have different currents. For example, in general, Acer is 3.42A, Dell is 3.334A, Hp is 3.33A, Sony is 4.7A, etc.

To sum up: In fact, the voltage and current of the same brand laptop power adapter are not the same. Therefore, even if the power adapter is used between laptops of the same brand, it is necessary to confirm the voltage and current specifications.
